NFL Draft      Ourlads' Mock Draft

Ourlads 2025 Mock Draft 2.0

Updated: 02/17/2025 2:59PM ET

* Denotes Underclassmen
Tennessee Titans
CB/WR, Colorado
HT: 6010 | WT: 185  | Stats
While the term “Generational” gets thrown around too loosely, Hunter can rightfully be put into that rare tier. The cornerback/receiver hybrid gives what every franchise in the game is looking for. Options.
Cleveland Browns
DE, Penn State
HT: 6030 | WT: 252  | Stats
No matter what the club does with Myles Garrett, Carter is the best football move for them. He is the one that can give this team an every week, every situation identity while they try to piece together the anemic offense with economic spending.
New York Giants
QB, Colorado
HT: 6020 | WT: 215  | Stats
The Giants are making a move a quarterback, no question. If they do not go the veteran route, Sanders appears to give them the highest starting point and most likely path to what Brian Daboll wants to work with.
New England Patriots
WR, Arizona
HT: 6050 | WT: 212  | Stats
In the Ourlads Mock 1.0 we gave Drake Maye a left tackle to work with. Here, we opt for the playmaker that can create a lot on his own both at the catch point and with the ball in his hands.
Jacksonville Jaguars
DT, Michigan
HT: 6030 | WT: 320  | Stats
While new Head Coach Liam Coen figures out what to do on offense, the club can put another big-time playmaker on the defensive front that stabilizes a unit that is simply too easy to score on. The potential of their line, if Graham and Travon Walker hit their respective ceilings, would be downright scary.
Las Vegas Raiders
S, Georgia
HT: 6010 | WT: 205  | Stats
The Pete Carroll hire leads me to believe there is more of an immediate impact approach to the roster build. They are likely to sign (or trade for) their starting quarterback and that widens the door for a best player available approach which is Starks, a quarterback of the secondary type.
New York Jets
QB, Miami
HT: 6020 | WT: 223  | Stats
Aaron Rodgers is gone, a new regime is in place, and there is no better place to start a rebuild than at quarterback. Ward is a gifted thrower with an abundance of starting experience and production in multiple systems.
Carolina Panthers
CB, Michigan
HT: 6020 | WT: 202  | Stats
Only two corners played 100 snaps on the outside and one of them is a free agent that does not give long term confidence. Johnson’s season as derailed by injury and it could play right into the laps of Carolina just like Derek Stingley did to Houston in 2022.
New Orleans Saints
DT, Mississippi
HT: 6030 | WT: 305  | Stats
Nolen could make a case to be the top interior lineman in the class and this is a club that has very little to work with at that spot. Nolen’s pass rush ability can help bring back the identity this club used to have along their front.
Chicago Bears
HT: 6060 | WT: 323
The team knows Caleb Williams will need better protection to reach his ceiling, and it really is that simple. Here, they get their choice of any blocker they want despite fighting the temptation to trade up for Campbell, a guy that gives them inside-out options.
San Francisco 49ers
HT: 6040 | WT: 320
The long-term future of this roster build will be different with Brock Purdy’s incoming contract. While Trent Williams has some left in the tank, Banks gives them his eventual replacement while also providing a starting guard for the 2025 season.
Dallas Cowboys
RB, Boise State
HT: 5090 | WT: 215  | Stats
The pick that simply makes too much sense. Jeanty gives them an immediate top back much like a young Ezekiel Elliot did back in the day. Except this time the team has a quarterback at the top of his game and an All-Pro receiver with a strong line up front. Points galore in a balanced manner.
Miami Dolphins
DT, Michigan
HT: 6030 | WT: 339  | Stats
This could go in a variety of directions but watching the impact a versatile and deep defensive line can have on the best passers has Miami thinking that is the quickest path to real contention. Grant is exactly what Dexter Lawrence was when he came out of Clemson in 2019.
Indianapolis Colts
TE, Penn State
HT: 6060 | WT: 261  | Stats
Another easy match for one of the most prototype prospects in the country. Warren comes in and fills in a much-needed missing piece to Richardson’s supporting cast and could even take over some of the QB-designed runs a la Taysom Hill to help keep the quarterback healthy.
Atlanta Falcons
DE, Texas A&M
HT: 6040 | WT: 285  | Stats
This was one of the worst pass rushes in football last year until they started to manufacture more production from off-line defenders. Ideally, they can get it done with four rushers and Scourton fits the profile they pursued last year in Mattew Judon, a current free agent.
Arizona Cardinals
DE, Texas A&M
HT: 6060 | WT: 290  | Stats
This is the time of year we get further away from the tape and more drawn in by tools and upside. Whether you agree or not will dictate the outlook on both this selection and Stewart, an ideal blend of size, power, and burst.
Cincinnati Bengals
DT, Oregon
HT: 6050 | WT: 310  | Stats
Somewhat of a late bloomer, Harmon transferred to Oregon and absolutely took over. One of the best combinations of size and pass rush ability, this is exactly what this rebuilding defense needs up front.
Seattle Seahawks
CB, East Carolina
HT: 6030 | WT: 193  | Stats
Revel was on his way to being a top ten pick prior to his knee injury and this is the kind of value that gives Seattle an identity on defense that can bring them to an elite level on that side of the ball. This could be an extremely difficult team to pass on if he pans out.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
DE, Mississippi
HT: 6040 | WT: 255  | Stats
YaYa Diaby had 70 pressures, but it takes the combination of three other edge defenders to reach that number. The Todd Bowles defense needs another edge presence and Umanmielen gives them the prototype he likes to work with. He joins Chris Braswell to offer the front multiple options.
Denver Broncos
TE, Michigan
HT: 6050 | WT: 245  | Stats
Easy match here just like Bo Nix to Denver was an easy match for us in January 2024. Payton loves and knows how to use this kind of tight end to sweeten up the air attack and Loveland could have been TE1 had he played with a better quarterback in 2024.
Pittsburgh Steelers
RB, North Carolina
HT: 6000 | WT: 220  | Stats
This can go in a variety of directions. We still have no idea what they are going to do at quarterback, but I am going to stick with the consistency this organization values. They want a bell cow back and Hampton is closer to Jeanty as a prospect than many think.
Los Angeles Chargers
WR, Missouri
HT: 5110 | WT: 205  | Stats
The value of the this player has more to do with the pick than the position. But simply put, both Burden and Ladd McConkey offer alignment versatility, and it is Burden that adds to the versatile big play potential. He is a playmaker in every sense of the word that can thrive with a real passer.
Green Bay Packers
WR, Ohio State
HT: 6010 | WT: 205  | Stats
This is a fit that makes almost too much sense. If I had to put money on just ONE guy in this entire class to have an average to above average career, Egbuka is it. And no, his ceiling is not a low one. He enters a talented receiver room but offers a sense of reliability and polish none of them have to have stabilize the team’s passing game.
Minnesota Vikings
CB, Notre Dame
HT: 6000 | WT: 190  | Stats
The medicals will be as big for Morrison as any corner in the draft. His tape is as good as the CB1 Will Johnson but with more upside in man coverage. Minnesota’s secondary has significant questions at both the top and bottom ends of the cornerback room.
Houston Texans
OT, Ohio State
HT: 6050 | WT: 310
The need for offensive line help is obvious. Where to put that help is the question. Moving Tytus Howard inside was a strong move and Blake Fisher could be next. Either way, adding Simmons helps solidify that left tackle spot long term if and when Laremy Tunsil is done in Houston, which could be as soon as 2026.
Los Angeles Rams
OT, Minnesota
HT: 6060 | WT: 330
The team committed to more size and power up front, and the final missing piece is at left tackle. Ersery knocks both birds out with one stone and still presents the kind of upside that very few tackles can reach up to.
Baltimore Ravens
HT: 6040 | WT: 315
The run on tackles continues with Conerly stepping in to replace the overpriced Ronnie Stanley. No matter what they do there, Conerly offers the kind of upside and long term security that is hard to fill. He is one of the best movers among all offensive linemen in the class and should offer solid blind side protection for Lamar Jackson.
Detroit Lions
DE, Georgia
HT: 6050 | WT: 265  | Stats
The injury to Aidan Hutchinson and the fact he led the team in pressures despite playing just five games strengthens the notion of how badly this team needs help up front. Losing both coordinators will push this franchise to stick their roots; own the trenches.
Washington Commanders
WR, Texas
HT: 6000 | WT: 195  | Stats
Round of applause for Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels. Despite his quick impact, the support around him needs to be improved. Adding Golden, a threat on every level of the route tree and with the ball in his hands, adds a constant explosive play potential.
Buffalo Bills
S, South Carolina
HT: 6030 | WT: 227  | Stats
The lack of options and stability through the spine of their defense has created instability. This is the kind of defensive weapon that does a lot both seen and unseen.
Kansas City Chiefs
OT/OG, Missouri
HT: 6030 | WT: 325  | Stats
There are questions along that offensive line and just like they did in the secondary, they will keep feeding the group with draft picks until they have the solution. The positive of Membou is the fact he can project both inside and outside.
Philadelphia Eagles
OG, Alabama
HT: 6050 | WT: 325
Don’t fix what isn’t broken. The path to the Eagles success is up front on both sides of the ball and there is a hole at right guard that Booker can fill at a high level and likely bring the group to an even higher level in 2025 right away.
Cleveland Browns
HT: 6050 | WT: 225  | Stats
There is an intriguing level of uniqueness to Williams’ game and we know the Cleveland offense is going to have to try smoke and mirror to score points. Williams, one of the best pure physical packages in the class, brings danger to the scheme in every way imaginable.
New York Giants
OG, Ohio State
HT: 6040 | WT: 320
Jackson was supposed to use 2024 as a year to prove he can be one of the top guards in this class. Instead, thanks to an injury to Josh Simmons, he showed he can handle left tackle as well. Either way, the Giants immediately move to providing protection for their new toy at under center.
Tennessee Titans
DE, Marshall
HT: 6040 | WT: 248  | Stats
One of the best pure get-off defenders in the class, Green brings a weapon to the outside for a defense that didn’t have any edge rushers with a 10% pressure rate in 2024. He won’t need to be an every down defender, and he complements the guys they already have in the room well.
Jacksonville Jaguars
OT, West Virginia
HT: 6060 | WT: 317
Investing into the trenches for the second straight pick is something Coen will want to bring with him from his previous stops of Los Angeles and Tampa Bay. Milum, a college left tackle, best projects inside at the next level and if Trevor Lawrence is ever going to earn that contract he signed last year, the line needs to play better.
Las Vegas Raiders
RB, Iowa
HT: 6000 | WT: 225  | Stats
The common ground between the best Chip Kelly offense and Pete Carroll team is a power back that can handle a full load, grind out the clock, and pick up first downs. Johnson can do all of that and more and will be their top ball carrier right away.
New England Patriots
OL, FCS & Small College NFL Prospects
HT: 6060 | WT: 305  | Stats
I’m not exactly sure where Zabel will play on this line but there are going to be options to with. Michael Onwenu needs to be outside and Zabel can play both guard and center based on where the other chips fall. A target in round one and a bodyguard in round two is the approach for Drake Maye’s support.
Chicago Bears
DE, Ohio State
HT: 6050 | WT: 260  | Stats
Ben Johnson knows how much the trenches control outcomes where you’re close, but not quite there. Offensive line round one, defensive line with the first of two picks in round two is an easy path to start. Sawyer is an ideal complement to what they have and will raise the floor of this defense.
New Orleans Saints
WR, Mississippi
HT: 6030 | WT: 210  | Stats
New Head Coach Kellen Moore is going to come to this offense and quickly identify the need for more juice at receiver. Ideally it comes in the form of size and downfield impact like what AJ Brown gave him in Philadelphia. Harris was one of the most productive receivers in the country pre-injury and hosts several WR1 traits.
Chicago Bears
DT, Ohio State
HT: 6030 | WT: 327  | Stats
Yet another pick for the point of the attack because this is an area where the club simply does not have enough quality depth, particularly for their run defense. Williams can bring more to the table than that but initially is there to steady the ship if and when an injury arises and/or fresh legs are needed.
New York Jets
TE, Miami
HT: 6040 | WT: 245  | Stats
All the talk surrounding Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland is warranted, but there is not much of a gap if at all between them and Arroyo. He can stretch the field, track the ball, and make plays in traffic. This is the reliable threat they need for the intermediate portion of the passing game.
San Francisco 49ers
DT, Toledo
HT: 6040 | WT: 310  | Stats
Part of the reason this team lost their way, beyond injuries, has been the lack of presence and depth inside. Alexander is one of the most exciting defensive linemen in a loaded class because of his versatility and tools. Robert Saleh returning should put on everyone on notice and the personnel moves are next.
Dallas Cowboys
DE, Tennessee
HT: 6050 | WT: 243  | Stats
After Dan Quinn ravaged the group of it’s proven depth and experience, the club realized how vulnerable they were once Micah Parsons missed some game time. Pearce has the kind of upside that most in this class cannot even sniff.
Indianapolis Colts
ILB, Alabama
HT: 6030 | WT: 244  | Stats
The goal of elevating this defense to a higher level ideally comes in the form of a toolsy, versatile front seven defender that can fly around the field. Campbell brings exactly what the doctor ordered.
Atlanta Falcons
CB, Texas
HT: 5110 | WT: 200  | Stats
Whether Raheem Morris wants an outside or nickel presence, Barron is the guy that presents the kind of value the way Brian Branch did to Detroit in 2023. Barron, the Thorpe Award winner, is a huge piece of the puzzle that gives them options.
Arizona Cardinals
DT, Texas
HT: 6050 | WT: 320  | Stats
Outside in round one, inside in round two. Arizona drafts into the strength of this draft to fix the biggest weakness on the roster in a league that is constantly trying to find ways to replicate what the Super Bowl champs have accomplished.
Miami Dolphins
OT, Arizona
HT: 6050 | WT: 336
While there is a shot he can play tackle eventually, this is more geared for the inside where I think his skill set is best suited. He can create push in the run game and his ability to win in a phone booth as a pass protector is near-mandatory for this passing game to return to form.
Cincinnati Bengals
CB, Mississippi
HT: 6010 | WT: 190  | Stats
The instability and inconsistency in the defensive backfield is going to lead to the second fiddle positioning unless they improve the talent there. Amos is a pure outside guy that gives options to the rest of the room and he could be the number one guy within a year.
Seattle Seahawks
QB, Mississippi
HT: 6020 | WT: 225  | Stats
Time to take a hard look at the future of this position even if you believe in Geno Smith for another year or two. Dart has his warts, but he has as much quality throws on tape as any quarterback in the class.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
WR, Texas
HT: 5110 | WT: 180  | Stats
There are a couple of directions this team can go at receiver. Their success at finding play makers in rounds two to four gets another crack with Bond, arguably the fastest receiver in the class that can be used in multiple alignments and ways.
Denver Broncos
RB, Ohio State
HT: 5100 | WT: 208  | Stats
Now that Payton has proven he has his quarterback, the mission to add the other pieces of his puzzle is vital to the team’s success. Henderson provides the explosive option to the backfield that complements the pile pushers they already have.
Pittsburgh Steelers
LB, Georgia
HT: 6020 | WT: 245  | Stats
There are a lot of mixed reviews on Walker, the off ball linebacker that is likely to make a full time move to the edge. This plays right into what the club wants as they look into the long term future of the position and see the need for depth and potential long term replacements for a pillar-position of their defense.
Los Angeles Chargers
DE, Boston College
HT: 6020 | WT: 247  | Stats
Passing on defensive line help in round one is an inherent risk to their defense, but the depth should open the door to finding a viable option day two. The edge room could use more youth and this is the kind of bendy speed presence that can complement what they have.
Green Bay Packers
DT, South Carolina
HT: 6040 | WT: 290  | Stats
Adding more talent to their pass rush is a near-must for a team that appears to be right on the brink of credible Super Bowl contention. The pieces are there elsewhere for this unit to compete against the best but it is all moot if they can’t win with the line.
Buffalo Bills
CB, Florida State
HT: 6020 | WT: 198  | Stats
Step two of preparing the secondary needs to be aimed at finding an outside corner that can be a true number one. Thomas has all of the tools and enough quality tape to pose as a top guy that can play in different looks.
Houston Texans
WR, Iowa State
HT: 5110 | WT: 200  | Stats
The receiver room will need to fill production and some from what they had in 2024. Ideally this comes in the form of a trusty slot that has the strength and size to handle hits. Noel is exactly what the doctor ordered for CJ Stroud and should be an immediate threat for the new offense.
Carolina Panthers
OC, Georgia
HT: 6030 | WT: 310
There is not as much immediate help at center this year compared to 2024, but Wilson is the one that can be a week one starter without question. He fits in nicely with what the club likes to do on offense and should give stability to the inside which was inconsistent last season.
Baltimore Ravens
WR, Stanford
HT: 6020 | WT: 210  | Stats
The club knows they need a real answer for the Z receiver and they will have a few guys to choose from day two of the draft. Ayomanor has proven success against the toughest corners this draft has to offer and fits the ethos of what this franchise wants to bring in.
Detroit Lions
CB, Iowa State
HT: 6040 | WT: 200  | Stats
With multiple free agents at a position that continues to be a sore spot for the club’s defense, Porter is a set of fresh legs that can bring plus size and speed to complement recent draft additions to the defensive backfield.
Washington Commanders
S, Notre Dame
HT: 6000 | WT: 203  | Stats
While investing in the trenches often looks like the right move for a team like this, Watts and his ability to make plays on the ball is an ideal fit for this defense. Jeremy Chinn is a free agent and that leaves nobody next to Quan Martin in the safety room that forced an interception in 2024. That is Watts’ specialty.
Buffalo Bills
WR, Iowa State
HT: 6040 | WT: 215  | Stats
It is hard to find a combination of skills and size that Higgins can bring to the table. Only Mack Hollins, an impending free agent, had a contested catch rate of 50+%. Higgins gives them a guy that can get that done at a high level in addition to Keon Coleman, another sizeable big play threat to give them an identity.
Kansas City Chiefs
DT, Tennessee
HT: 6030 | WT: 315  | Stats
The Chiefs are going to be forced into adjusting their approach up front defensively in the near future. Norman-Lott brings the pad level and power that can fit into multiple roles along a defensive line that needs some fresh legs.
Philadelphia Eagles
DE, Oregon
HT: 6060 | WT: 295  | Stats

Stick with what works Part 2. Burch is a true inside out threat that can create power to speed with the best in this class. With Milton Williams likely gone in free agency, this is a simple insert into what’s next for the line.
