Best player in the draft. I just cannot see this happening but enough sources out there back it up that when there's THAT much smoke, there's fire. If I'm Monti I am not hedging my job and future on a running back (who by salary cap purposes will be the highest paid RB), but you're team also stinks, so just stack culture changers and good ballplayers.
4	Titans	Sonny Styles	LB	Ohio State
Saleh gets his Fred Warner 2.0. Styles plays all over and will immediately have 90+ tackles as a rookie.
5	Giants	Caleb Downs	S	Ohio State
Harbaugh gets his backend 10+ year starter safety and the cycle repeats itself. Downs has been the best player in college football since he stepped on the field as a freshman at Bama. This is when you just take the player over the combine results, and very few are smart enough to understand that other than John H.
6	Browns	Arvell Reese	LB	Ohio State
This will surely be a trade down spot but even if CLE stays, why not take the best player available? I think Reese will project more like Travon Walker than Micah Parsons like a lot of people think, but regardless, this could completely unlock Myles G by taking some pressure off. Browns don't over think it here and have plenty of other picks to fill the OT and WR spots.
7	Commanders	Carnell Tate	WR	Ohio State
Dan Quin's energy drinks pay off as he sprints this one to the podium. Please let this draft be the one where teams help their QB's.
8	Saints	Jordyn Tyson	WR	Arizona State
See above but I think Kellen Moore might get there a bit quicker
9	Chiefs	Mansoor Delane	CB	LSU
If you're KC and you're holding a lottery ticket that you probably won't have until Mahomes retires, why not take the best shutdown corner available. The cycle there repeats itself (yet again).
10	Bengals	Olaivavega Ioane	OG	Penn State
Harbaugh didn't get his offensive weapon with pick 5 but he gets his future Marshal Yanda here. Ioane is a bigger run mauler but the point stands. This would change the culture and dynamic of the offensive line and John H definitely comes from the help your young QB mold
11	Dolphins	Francis Mauigoa	OT	Miami
Easy pick for Miami, build from inside out and why not with a kid from just down the road
12	Cowboys	Dillon Thieneman	S	Oregon
Thieneman has been rising up boards but not if you watch Big Ten (still weird) football. He was all over for Oregon and deserves to be a top 15 pick. Jerry finally gets his stalwart at safety.
13	Rams f/ATL	Spencer Fano	OT	Utah
I think the Rams give us a curveball on Thursday and I just go back to the whole protect your QB thing. In this case it's a 42 year old but we all saw how he got tossed around like a kong toy during the playoffs. Reinforce that line and go from there. Same as Chiefs, you have a once in a lifetime lottery ticket here, and you just know they'll use it wisely.
14	Ravens	Rueben Bain Jr.	ED	Miami
A top 10 player falls to Baltimore? And plays defense? Shocker!
15	Buccaneers	CJ Allen	LB	Georgia
The first big surprise of the draft here. I think Tampa can definitely go Mesidor or some version of defensive line. But LaVonte just retired and I think Bowles will want to replace his scheme identity asap. Allen is great and won't be there at 46 when they pick next. Crazier things have happened.
16	Jets f/IND	Makai Lemon	WR	USC
Jets get their receiver. Lemon can start immediately at slot and will be Geno's new best friend with short dumps.
17	Lions	Kadyn Proctor	OT	Alabama
A very Dan Campbell-esque player (and it won't shock me to see him catch a few balls). Day 1 starter at LT with the Decker release and behemoth in the run game. Easy pick for DET.
18	Vikings	Chris Johnson	CB	San Diego State
Twist again! Probably higher than he'll go but I've heard enough rumors to connect the dots. Vikings, regardless of who their GM is, love to take secondary players. Johnson is rangy and will help shutdown the young receivers in the NFC North.
19	Panthers	Kenyon Sadiq	TE	Oregon
Probably Sadiq's floor and I can't think of a better pick. Could see Blake Miller here but they did sign Rasheed Walker to fill in the void for now, so I think they go best player available. Sadiq will help the run and pass games and immediately makes Tommy Tremble one of the better TE2's in the league.
20	Cowboys f/GB	Keldric Faulk	ED	Auburn
Seems like a Jerry pick and there's enough smoke around this pairing. Could maybe see Malachi Lawrence but they probably go with the SEC guy instead. Faulk is super young and can benefit from playing with/learning from Rashan Gary.
21	Steelers	Monroe Freeling	OT	Georgia
A Georgia Lineman to Pitt! A true LT and this can kick Fautanu inside to Guard.
22	Chargers	Keylan Rutledge	OG	Georgia Tech
Rutledge has Tate Rutledge vibes and the same last name irony isn't lost on me. Keylan can play all spots and will die fighting for Herbert, something Jimbo craves and that LAC hasn't had since he's been at the helm.
23	Eagles	Blake Miller	OT	Clemson
Howie gets his LT of the future and Miller can start right away at guard, if needed. More than likely they trade up above DET for him.
24	Browns f/JAX	Caleb Lomu	OT	Utah
CLE skipped OT earlier and now runs to the podium for Lomu. One of the few true LT's and completes the final piece to the line rebuild puzzle.
25	Bears	Max Iheanachor	OT	Arizona State
If the last remaining OT is here then I think the Bears grab him. If not, probably Edge (looking at you Zion Young - MIZ connections with LB3 last year). Back to Iheanachor, he can definitely go higher than the other tackles but I think he slips because of the inexperience. Very reminiscent of Aireontae Ersery last year.
26	Bills	Peter Woods	DT	Clemson
The first DT! Woods might've gone top 15 had this been last year. Play slipped a bit but as did everyone's at Clemson. I think he can work with Deone Walker as stop gappers and hopefully keeps Allen off the field a bit longer during games.
27	49ers	KC Concepcion	WR	Texas A&M
Would be crazy value here and a very likely scenario. KC is smooth but the drops are concerning. The measurables aren't quite the same but I keep thinking Steve Smith as a comp. And you cannot tell me, power plant and all, that SF rolls out 50 year olds Mike Evans and Christian Kirk as starters week 1.
28	Texans	Christen Miller	DT	Georgia
Fits the Demeco Ryans SWARM in every way. 99% sure the Texans trade back and don't draft Rd 1 but he could absolutely be in play for them early Rd 2 (and here obviously if they stay put). Sure there might be larger needs but why not get a young DT that you can mold into exactly what you just did with Will Anderson, positions aside. Fills a need of DT depth and would likely end up starting over Togiai at some point.
29	Chiefs f/LAR	Omar Cooper Jr.	WR	Indiana
The most Chiefs thing to happen, pissing off everyone outside of KC. Would start Day 1 and be their #1 WR. Best run blocking receiver in the draft. Probably fits the Andy Reid mold more than anyone else available and better than Denzel Boston.
30	Dolphins f/DEN	Akheem Mesidor	ED	Miami
A Miami trifecta! Would be steal for them to get Mesidor here and I think you don't think twice about it. Could go WR or CB but I think you just keep building inside out on both sides.
31	Patriots	Zion Young	ED	Missouri
MIZ! Plays like a Tasmanian Devil and is relentless all game long. Backs up the trash talk (see Auburn game during the overtime coin toss). Vrabel-type of run stuffer on the edge and won't pop with the sack numbers but will be a terror for teams to deal with.
32	Seahawks	Treydan Stukes	CB	Arizona
A late pre-draft riser and deservedly so. Can play all 5 secondary spots and is a freak on the field. Likely not much notice playing at Arizona but would be top 15 had he gone to a BIG10/SEC program.

33	Jets	Colton Hood	CB	Tennessee
Best player available and Day 1 CB1
34	Cardinals	Ty Simpson	QB	Alabama
We all know it. Personally, I wouldn't take him till Rd 3, but a team that just took a RB at 3rd overall is clearly desperate. Could've benefitted from another year at Bama and will probably just be a one year Jimmy Clausen type option till Arizona gets name-your-top-QB-not-named-Archie next year (looking at the Jets to use their 3 1's or just stink enough to get to #1 but now jumping way too ahead)
35	Titans	Avieon Terrell	CB	Clemson
Day 1 starter at slot and might sneak into Rd 1. If he were slightly taller he'd be top 20 and I think he uses that as a chip to become a great Kenny Moore-type
36	Raiders	Denzel Boston	WR	Washington
My pick for biggest bust in the draft but I'll try and be nice. Big receiver that gives your new young QB a huge target and it's always good to take a WR early when you go QB Rd 1.. I don't know but it just seems to work out. Boston had some great catches but he feels like a one-trick pony. A poor-man's Alshon Jeffrey,
37	Giants	Germie Bernard	WR	Alabama
Germie would fill the void left by Wandale Robinson and probably become Dart's new favorite target, at least until Nabers returns. Even so, I get DeVonta Smith vibes all day.
38	Texans f/WAS	Chase Bisontis	OG	Texas A&M
Houston continues the line rebuild and gets a guy who can sit for a bit behind Teller/Ingram but also play right away and the team not worry about a drop off. Last year, every single game felt like a reshuffle, and as a Texans fan, it was exhausting to watch and follow along. Teller and Ingram are both on 2 and 3 year deals, respectively, and Bisontis could easily be starting by the end of the year. A tackle might make more sense but not this high, so they nab the in-state kid. Just hope this history of Aggie OG doesn't repeat itself... iykyk
39	Browns	Malachi Fields	WR	Notre Dame
Kind of feels like Chase Claypool 2.0 but we'll see. Would certainly help whoever is throwing footballs for the Browns and could provide an immediate boost on special teams (not a joke, look at Senior Bowl week). Makes circus catches down field and obviously the big frame helps.
40	Chiefs	Cashius Howell	ED	Texas A&M
KC gets its edge rusher and the local product. Howell has always been doubted and proved it at TAMU this year. Falling to 40 would certainly light a fire under him to go off, which again, would just of course happen for the Chiefs.
41	Bengals	D'Angelo Ponds	CB	Indiana
Perfect Day 1 starter at Nickel for the Bengals. Height obviously a concern but I always go to ballplayers play ball, and similar to Aveion Terrell, a few more inches and he's top 20.
42	Saints	Malachi Lawrence	ED	Central Florida
Malachi certainly might go Rd 1 but I think he falls here due to other positions rising up the board. Probably the most raw rusher and can try and fill part of the void left by Cam Jordan.
43	Dolphins	Brandon Cisse	CB	South Carolina
Keep staking good players. Their first non-interior pick and he can be CB1 Day 1.
44	Jets f/DAL	Kayden McDonald	DT	Ohio State
Probably goes higher if not for the young age but he's teachable and will probably be a dominate NT for a while. Feels very Jetsy.
45	Ravens	Eli Stowers	TE	Vanderbilt
BAL gets their Likely replacement with a player who feels like a Raven. Good run blocker, started as a QB + Vandy so you know he's smart.
46	Buccaneers	T.J. Parker	ED	Clemson
Will not fall this far but in this scenario he does and the Bucs reap the reward. Parker was talked about as a lock for Rd 1 last year but Clemson Clemson'd and he falls because of a dip in production. Can definitely regain that 2024 form.
47	Colts	Anthony Hill Jr.	LB	Texas
Athletic linebacker and can start Day 1 in replacement of Zaire Franklin. During the college season I thought there was a chance he'd be a lock for Rd 1 but he gets pushed down due to the position.
48	Falcons	Jake Golday	LB	Cincinnati
Fills a void and will start immediately - Need rangy backers in the NFC South
49	Vikings	Jadarian Price	RB	Notre Dame
Would be a massive steal for the Vikes and they would surely accept it. Price would start right away and might even end up just as good as J Love when all said and done.
50	Lions	Jacob Rodriguez	LB	Texas Tech
Perhaps an even more Dan Campbell pick than Proctor! A mustached psycho at linebacker who can stop the run, hold his own in coverage and causes a mass amount of turnovers? Also named J Rodriguez (for my hardknocks fans out there)? CMon!
51	Panthers	Caleb Tiernan	OT	Northwestern
Probably a hair early for Tiernan but he gets pushed up because after him it's a steep cliff of a falloff for the OT's. Smart, reliable (several year starter), very good tape against some of the best in the BIG10 and even though I reference the Rasheed Walker signing for the Sadiq pick, I think they still need to go OT with one of their two top picks. Everything should be about Bryce and keeping him upright.
52	Packers	Gennings Dunker	OT	Iowa
Green Bay is on the board! Dunker just fits the Packers mold, both team and fanbase. Can play right away at OT or OG, or serve as a 6th lineman who will eventually start.
53	Steelers	De'Zhaun Stribling	WR	Mississippi
DK 2.0? Big-bodied receiver from Ole Miss who has crazy reach. Keep adding to the offense.
54	Eagles	Emmanuel McNeil-Warren	S	Toledo
Philly seems to strike gold with Toledo secondary so why fix what ain't broke. EMW would go Rd 1 based off purely talent but I think he dips because of both the MACtion and safety factors. Regardless, this would be a perfect replacement for Blankenship and fits the Eagles mold of taller, athletic DB's.
55	Chargers	Lee Hunter	DT	Texas Tech
A big run stuffing NT that fits the Harbaugh defense perfectly
56	Jaguars	R Mason Thomas	ED	Oklahoma
Jags simply take best player available here. R Mason could easily go sooner or even at the end of Rd1. Athletic edge just too many injuries and a tad smaller.
57	Bears	Kyle Louis	LB	Pittsburgh
Louis is so athletic he could be listed as LB, CB or S, and that may be the very reason he gets drafted where he does. Too small for LB, too big for S and not good enough coverage for a CB/Nickel. But make no mistake, he's a baller and will find a home, even if it has to be just on 3rd downs. Will be a great special teams contributor too. Isiah Simmons comp.
58	49ers	Emmanuel Pregnon	OG	Oregon
SF takes best lineman available. Must keep Purdy upright. I like Pregnon's play but he got tossed around at times against good teams of similar competition.
59	Texans	Max Klare	TE	Ohio State
Casserio might scream so loud that the Texans Scottish fan from the commercials last year will hear him. The Texans have craved a young, athletic TE after the devastating repetitive injuries to Brevin Jordan. Stover has proven he should strictly be a blocking TE. Klare would compliment Schultz so well and it's no secret around HOU they love him.

Stay in state with the run stopping edge from Illinois

If Jermod falls this far it'd be both shocking and not surprising at all. Shocking because of the talent as he should go top 10 on that alone. The 2024 tape is absurd and reminiscent of that excellent year Derek Stingley had. It's unsurprising because the man has no legs. The injuries are a horrifying concern and he might only last 1-3 years. But if the Rams got his very best during that time? Watch out... It's a huge risk because he still might not even play this year but if you're the Rams, why not take the shot? Feels like either them or maybe Denver have the luxury

The turnover machine goes to NE and he would fit right in alongside Woodson while learning from Byard. Byard obviously starts but I could see Clark taking over by this time next year.

ZOU! Trotter plays, and celebrates, just like his dad. Excellent run stopper and jumps the gaps quickly. Arguably the best run defender in the class of LB's. His deficiency is in pass coverage but that can be teachable/not even necessary if you just play him on run downs. Eerily similar to Nick Bolton coming out and might end up just the same.
