Two-year starter. Transfer from Florida State prior to the 2025 season, and previously Georgia. Tall but undersized body with enticing length. Highly explosive off the line and makes excessive ground from the snap. Burst helps him fire into gaps and work into the backfield. Latches on with strong hands inside and able to shed effectively. Plants his feet in the ground and sets a decent edge to force runners inside. Patient cutback defender who won't over commit. Uses his long arms to separate and utilizes a swift arm-over to work inside. Able to skinny-up and slip through blocks on the interior. Pursues runners from the backside with long strides. Throws all of his weight into pullers to slow them down. Fluid mover with suddenness and athleticism that help him work all over the field. Highlights a couple of moves to help him win in pass rush especially his speed rush. Drops his weight well and shows solid bend around the edge to corner towards the quarterback. Gets in passing windows with his size to make more difficult throws. Bears down on quarterbacks with excellent closing speed. Engages with high pads, regularly causing him to lose leverage immediately. Not much knockback on engagement, and struggles to get any meaningful push. Needs to continue adding on to his pass rush arsenal; not enough moves to apply consistent pressure on the quarterback. Displays very few counter rush moves. Lack of strength and body control causes him to miss tackles too frequently.
