Three-year starter. Fifty career games under his belt at the collegiate level. Massive nose tackle with a huge midsection and giant legs. Decent quickness off the ball for someone of his size. Sufficient movement skills and athleticism to play as a 0-1 tech at the NFL level. Despite his height he can get off the ball low and get hands underneath linemen to stand them up. Space-eater with substantial strength to demand multiple linemen and continue to create push. Locks on with a solid punch and two-gaps with square hips to take up room. Spreads open gaps using burst to penetrate and is a challenge to contain. Controls his gap with his thick frame and brute strength; difficult to move. Uses strong hands to deploy a solid snatch-and-swim move to dispose of blockers. Squeezes through lanes to attack runners in the backfield. Absorbs hits from second blockers, and anchors down well against double teams. Can collapse the pocket using his power to walk linemen backwards. Consumes ball carriers attacking him on the interior and takes them down. Gets knocked to the ground too often. Adds almost nothing to pass rush and should be taken off the field in high percentage situations. When his bull rush stalls he has no other ways of getting to the quarterback. Ball carriers juke him out with ease in space to force missed tackles. Gets worn down easily and his motor decreases across the duration of the game.
