2026 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ROBERT HENRY JR.:

UTSA | Hometown: Lumberton, MS | HT: 5092 | WT: 196 | 40 time: 4.52 | Hand: 0918 | Arm: 3018 | Wing: 7178

Two-year starter. A JUCO All-American and Walter Jones Trophy Award winner in 2022 at Jones College in his second season there prior to transferring to UTSA in 2023. Earned first-team All-AAC honors in 2025. Henry is an undersized, but explosive back who led the nation in runs of both 60+ and 70+ yards. He is an instant-big play threat once he hits the open field with good vision and feel. Played some of his best football against his best competition. In his three career games against SEC defenses, he gained 281 yards on just 31 carries (9.1 avg) and three touchdowns. The big-play speed shows up every time he is on the field. He will add speed and big play potential to a backfield right away, not just because of his ability, but the natural feel for the game. Shifty, loose lower half that explodes when he puts his foot in the ground and pounces into his targeted space. Goes zero to sixty in a blink with the final fear to lengthen separation from defenders. Elusive and balanced to make guys miss often. Vision and anticipation make him play even faster as he takes advantage of the slightest angles. Lack of size shows up against a crowd. Small frame makes it tough to escape a good wrap up from an NFL-sized defender. Too hesitant at the line at times. Shows a lot of weak contact as a blocker.

2025 Stats: 1045 yds, 6.9 ypc, 9 TD, 18 rec, 114 yds, 6.3 ypr, 2 TD. OSR:11/12. SS-4.32. Draft projection: 5th/6th round
