Four-year starter. Finished his career near or at the top of almost all passing categories in school history. The dual threat suffered multiple injuries early in his career but he built a reputation based on resilience and comeback mentality. He has a streaky way about him as a passer which stems from inconsistent decision making and feel for coverage, but the densely built, strong-armed powerball has shown enough to warrant a potential practice squad placement to see how he reacts to new coaching and schemes. Brave in the pocket. Avoids sacks with a blend of playing with urgency but understanding where the creases are. Will keep his eyes downfield as he evades pass rushers. Fast release capable of putting serious RPMs on the ball. Power from his lower body shows up as both a passer and runner. Too many turnovers which appear to be a result of poor vision. Easily fooled and had too many negative streaks over his career. Footwork and success rate throwing into traffic never improved from his early years.
2025 Stats: 198/319, 2531 yds, 62.1%, 22 TD, 7 INT, 404 yds rushing, 4 TD, 147.1 QB rating. OSR:5/8. Draft projection: 7th round/PFA
