Two year starter. Has an excellent frame and ideal length to play guard. Has weight room strength and it shows up on the field. After starting in 2024, he has been spotty with a tendency to be injury prone. Continues an inconsistent path and possible ascension amongst the top offensive linemen in the country. This big man displays a good temperament for the battle of being an interior lineman. Shows incredible power, he can knock interior defenders back off the ball. Can clean out defenders on down blocks. Allows little penetration into the center of the passer's pocket, due in no small part to the length of his arms and his strength at the point of attack. Grip strength is optimal, and he stays clamped on interior defenders. Handles bull rushers with ease. Like most linemen, he needs to work on hand placement. Needs to keep his feet under him in space and force himself not to spread out. This will help him in getting to the linebackers more consistently. Needs to lower his pad level. Pass protection may be an issue as his inconsistency in footwork and knee bend may hold him back. All this being said, he continues to rise within the ranks, as his physical intangibles remain sound. Needs to show consistency in stacking good plays on each other. A good opportunity lies ahead for teams in the middle rounds looking for that piece of clay to be molded. BP-25.
