Seventh-year senior who started games all seven years, including a couple of Covid-interrupted and shortened seasons. Spent four years at Maine prior to following a coach to Connecticut in 2023 where he used a medical redshirt for a shoulder injury. Finally hit his stride in 2024 and put together two strong seasons, recording nine wins in back to back years for the first time in school history. While he is an older-than-normal prospect, his production, mechanics, and ball protection combine to create an impressive profile. He played some of his best football against his toughest competition over the last two seasons and should receive an opportunity in training camp to prove himself. Strong and sturdy lower half on a well-sized frame. Plays with proper balance and control to promote clean, consistent mechanics. Excellent ball fakes and immediate footwork. Always made it a habit to get the ball out in a hurry and kept it out of the defense's hands with an incredibly low interception rate. Makes anticipation throws over the middle of the defense look seamless. Looks off defenders and smoothly operates through progressions. Stares down an incoming pass rusher in the eyes to wait for his target to find the crease. Limited arm strength shows up on 20+ yard throws downfield. Ball tends to die on throws to the outside from the opposite hashmark. Was not a successful passer beyond the intermediate portion of the route tree. Has an injury history in addition to a very high age-mark.
