Two year starter. Transfer from Georgia in 2024. Hyper athletic linebacker with decent height but a slender build for a box linebacker. He's played on the edge, overhang and in the box. Limited experience in the box but has flashed solid inside run fits working downhill and to the alley. Shows agility in traffic locating the ball on inside runs and cutbacks. Showed well at times in the Senior Bowl playing in the box. At his best as a chase player with lateral speed to pursue across the field. Shows knee bend and pop attacking blocks. Flashes ability to tackle in space wrapping and driving through tackles. Used mostly on the edge he showed ability to take on pullers forcing backs to bubble. Shows some promise as a pass rusher as he has speed coming off the edge or blitzing inside. His coverage was limited to flat and picking up backs on outside releases. Has the speed to take a wheel route up the field. He showed up well in one-on-ones during Senior Bowl practices. With limited experience in coverage he has some development as pass drops can be shallow and route recognition is lacking. Has trouble shedding blocks inline and can get caught in the wash. Missed tackle percentage has been too high as he will lunge at times or bounce off. Lacks pass rush technique as he relies primarily on speed at this point. Has flashed in all areas but has not been productive as his athletic profile would indicate. Has promise and the tools are there but he will need development.
