Three-year starter. Spent three seasons at California prior to transferring to Oklahoma in 2024. His career started off on fire with over 2,500 total yards with explosive plays coming as both a rusher and receiver. Nagging injuries and limited snaps took him off the radar a bit, but his speed and strong week at the Senior Bowl have kept him in the picture. While he is not an every down back, there are traits he possesses that some teams value highly for their backfield rotation. Has speed and receiving ability which together can make him a specific asset to a backfield but the lack of physicality and power handicaps his usage. Light feet with easy, natural acceleration and deceleration. Can flip a switch and reach a high-top speed instantly. Unlikely to be caught from behind. Has been a productive pass catcher who can run multiple routes and catch the ball from different angles. Late hands and natural coordination can be an added weapon to the passing game. An open-field menace who can create explosives if given some space to work with. Stays square and maximizes his movement traits. Lacks physical toughness and it shows as a ball carrier and pass protector. Stiffens up as he anticipates contact. Very low yard-after-contact production. Had an unusual amount of carries that went for a loss or no gain. Lacks urgency and feel as an interior runner.
