Three year starter. Transferred from Tulsa in 2023 after two seasons. Well proportioned frame with average length. Starting left tackle in 2023 before moving to left guard in 2024. Athletic blocker with remarkable movement skill. He excels at blocking in space. Quick off the ball, he gets into the defender's frame with initial pop and leg drive. Keeps his feet moving throughout the play and is his key to success. Excellent blocking in space with ability to find targets at the second level, and adjust to movement. Can wall second level defenders out of the play. Quickness and agility shows ability to move his feet and stay with blocks. Solid position blocker with knee bend and quick hands to keep blockers out of the play. Effective on zone blocks with ability to reach a gap over and lock on. As a puller he's quick getting off tackle and into the defender. Has been effective turning and sealing outside. Has notable ability to mirror defenders in one on one pass blocking situations. Stays on the defender, keeping his feet moving and reacting to counters. Has range to help outside if uncovered. Adept at picking up stunts with the ability to slide his feet and change directions. Lacks ideal length to lock out a defender. At times lets defenders get in his frame, neutralizing his charge. Lower body power is lacking as he gets little movement on drive blocks. Has problems getting knocked back against a bull rush. Has some versatility to play outside and could be seen as a chess piece. He will need a scheme that emphasizes movement and zone blocking.
