Four-year starter. Transfer from James Madison prior to the 2025 season. Started 47 games throughout his collegiate career. Well-undersized compact frame lacking significant length for a traditional edge rusher, but exceptional muscle definition. Rapid-firing feet off the snap helps him gain ground swiftly. Gets low and throws his weight into blockers to maintain gap responsibility on base and down blocks. Low and bulked-out frame makes him a pain to block. Able to set the edge with a low center-of-gravity and a strong lower half to anchor well. Presses his way into gaps and shows up in the backfield with brute strength. Quality speed rush matched with decent cornering ability to create pressure from the edge. Slants inside with a tough rip to create paths inside to the quarterback. Loops inside on stunts with quality agility and hip fluidity. Impressive closing speed to rally to quarterbacks in pursuit. Busts his butt in pursuit to catch runners down the field and towards the sideline. Short arms add difficulty extended and disengaging from blocks. Gets knocked off balance often. Lags behind on stretch plays giving up his run responsibility. Despite 31 career sacks, struggles to deconstruct blocks in one-on-one situations in pass rush against higher level competition. Must develop additional moves to be a more consistent factor against the pass. Lack of length makes it difficult to wrap up and finish tackles with proper technique.
2025 Stats: 37 T, 9.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 2 PBU, 10 QBH. Draft projection: 7th round/PFA
