Four year starter with two at James Madison. Honorable mention All-Big 10 in 2025. Defensive MVP of the National Championship game. Transferred from James Madison in 2024. Compact frame with average length but lacking in height. Excellent bend and flexibility for his size. Aligned most often in a two point stance with his inside foot back. Would get in four point in obvious passing downs. Usually aligned in a wide nine but also played over a tight end in a 6. Extreme quickness and explosion on his first step. Attacks blocks with natural knee and ankle flexion to gain leverage. Quick with hands he can get extension and slip blocks on the move to set the edge. Plays with a hot motor to the whistle and has range in pursuit chasing to the sideline. Notable ability on inside stunts disrupting blocking schemes. Used as a flat defender he gets in his drop in a hurry and can close the throwing lane. As a pass rusher he has a variety of moves turning his quickness into power. Shows a violent pop into a rip move that has been effective getting him around the corner. Bend and squeeze to close on the quarterback is top-tier. Shows a series of moves and counters with an in to out move along with various hand swipes. Explodes into tackles with leg drive and finish. Rarely misses. Was successful in college with quickness, leverage and technique. It's questionable his smaller frame will hold up against more athletic and powerful NFL offensive tackles. Had way more pressures than sacks compared to 2024. Pass coverage was limited and depth of drop was often too shallow. Lack of height will limit how high he's drafted, but his productivity is hard to ignore.
2025 Stats: 34 T, 7 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 PBU, 4 QBH, 1 BK. Draft projection: 5th/6th round
