Four-year starter. Honorable mention All-ACC this past season. Tall body with plenty of length. Combination of size and athleticism can be attractive to teams. Springy in his stance waiting for the snap. Excellent first step quickness off the ball to fire into blockers. Can be a handful to block with his size and aggression on contact. Excessive arm length helps him create extension to separate from blocks. Disrupts plays at the meshpoint and causes havoc in the backfield. Shows potential in pass rush. Eye-opening twitch for someone of his size to attack blockers from different standpoints. Dips with a violent rip move to pressure the quarterback. Uses his explosiveness to get past blockers matched with impressive bend to turn the corner effectively. Highlights a long-arm using his length to drive linemen back into the signal caller. Physically throws linemen's hands off of him with brute force. Slants into gaps using a club move to keep hands off of him. Long strides help him catch runners from behind. Uses his frame to swallow up runners and take them down. Naturally high pad level allows linemen to get underneath of him easily. Big liability in run defense as he can get pushed around frequently. Lacks the necessary anchor to hold the edge; gets widened out quickly. Stumbles and ends up on the ground too often. Not enough refined pass rush moves causes him to get caught up on blocks too often. Does not go into every play with a plan and often stalls out.
2025 Stats: 33 T, 13 TFL, 7.5 sacks, 2 PBU, 4 QBH, 1 FF. Draft projection: 7th round/PFA
