One-year starter. First team All-Conference USA and won the conference's Offensive Player of the Year Award after setting a program record in single season rushing yards. He is a small, but powerful interior runner who created a high rate of explosive runs in his lone year as a lead back. The overall speed and agility are the limiting factors to his game, especially for a guy with minimal special teams and pass-game value. He ended his career red hot though and his ability to pick up yards after contact will get him a fighting chance. Hungry between the tackles. Takes contact with strength and balance and simply assumes he is not going down on initial contact. Has a nose for the open field. Vision is strong and will gravitate to open space. Almost seven percent of his rushes over the last two years went for over 20 yards, a very high number. Strong ball protector who attacks downhill. Was not used as a route runner or pass catcher often. Impact as a blocker was minimal. Lacks the speed to get away from pro defenders in space and runs high between the tackles. Often needs the extra step or two to change direction and struggles to stay square to the north. Will have a chance to prove his worth as a back-end ball carrier, but there is a lack of variety to his game and there was just one season of production that lacked variety.
