One year starter. First-team All-MAC and MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2025. Transferred from Houston after three seasons as a backup. Played one season at Hutchinson CC in Kansas before Houston. Well put together with a strong lower body and athletic movement skills. Tucker burst on the scene at Western Michigan with a productive season playing the run and rushing the passer. Aligned mostly in a wide nine in a two point stance he flashes outstanding snap quickness and quick hands attacking blocks. When he plays with knee bend and his pad level is low, he can be a terror playing the run or rushing the passer. He generally holds the point and can stack and shed to set the edge. Sifts inside with outstanding lateral movement to make plays along the line. Solid agility he can re-direct off blocks to make plays on the perimeter. As a pass rusher he's a speed to power player with a variety of ways to get to the quarterback. His normally quick first step and sudden hands can put blockers on their heels. Shows a quick club into an arm over going inside or outside. Can bull rush into a move using a dip and rip or push pull. Flashes quick hand swipes and chops. Has the ability to counter off initial move going out to in or vice versa. Incredible bend to turn the corner around a blocker and close on the quarterback. Very limited coverage reps. Has solid wrap and drive tackling skill but has some misses in space. Some inconsistency shows in get off as he will at times lean into his first step or take a slight false step. Has to focus on pad level because he can get upright at the snap and initial contact and get stalemated. Has the upside of a rotational edge player in the NFL.
