Ourlads' Profile:
2026 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about AARON ANDERSON:
LSU | Hometown: New Orleans, LA | HT: 5077 | WT: 198 | 40 time: 4.58 | Hand: 0900 | Arm: 2934 | Wing: 7238
Two-year starter. Began his career at Alabama in 2022 where he played in just one game before transferring to LSU. He is undersized even for the slot, but his movement traits and big play potential are enticing. Comparing his 2024 tape versus what the LSU offense produced tell two different stories about him as a prospect, but there is enough to get excited about. Has limitations he will never get away from, but his ability to create separation with and without the ball will deserve an extra look, especially when watching what he could do in 2024. Explosive start off the line who puts pressure on coverage in a hurry. Matches his elite straight-line speed with just-as effective breaks out of his stem. Can separate in any direction at all levels of the route tree. Has shown he can track the ball over his shoulder. Does his best work after the catch. Breaks a lot of tackles with a combination of contact balance and sudden quickness. Despite a lack of downfield targets, he still produced a lot of explosive plays for the offense. Returned one of his six kick returns for a touchdown. Small-frame will limit his reach-potential and radius a passer has to work with. Inconsistent hands and he struggles to make the catch on balls he needs to extend his body for. Unbalanced eye-hand coordination. Primarily contributed from the slot and rarely did anything else when it came to rushing the ball or on special teams. Over half his catches were on passes five yards or less.
2025 Stats: 33-398, 12.1 ypr. Draft projection: 6th/7th round
