Two year starter. Third-team All-SEC in 2025. Played at North Carolina in 2023 starting eight games before transferring to Ole Miss where he started 24 games at left tackle over his last two seasons. Has good overall length for the next level tackle position. Had a good showing at the East-West Shrine Bowl. For a big man, he possesses relatively light feet. As evidenced at the Combine, he runs well and is quick off the ball. Shows the ability to sink his hips and set a good anchor. Sees the line tricks developing and reacts accordingly. Shows a good accurate punch with leverage. Keeps the edge upfield. Shows good grip strength and works well in combination with the guard. Pass pro is way ahead of his run game blocking. He had 550 pass blocking attempts this past season, giving up zero sacks. Has excellent footwork with an effective initial pop and recovery. Can mirror movements with excellent agility and has been effective handling line stunts and counters. Needs to work on knee bend when run blocking. His pad level can get too high, which is understandable for being such a big man. and he sometimes lacks the same body control he shows in pass protection. May not have the feet and agility to be a starting left tackle in the NFL, but may be able to play interior lineman. His Shrine Bowl tape is going to help his draft grade, as he was very good at taking on future NFL starters, however, there is room for continuing development. Could be a solid third day pick.
