Two year starter. Third-team All-Big 12 in 2025. Played one season at Snow CC. Transferred to Utah in 2023 where he became a starter during the 2024 season for a total of 19 starts. A burly tight end with a huge frame, Dallen is a next level physical specimen with the build of an attached tight end. He broke out as a receiver in 2025 after only three catches over his career prior to last season. Has exceptional balance and can play any of the roles a tight end needs to be, in-line, slot and split out at wide receiver. Has soft consistent hands and had zero drops in 76 targets this past season. The quick game will be an asset to Bentley. Catches the ball even when being smothered by defenders. For a big man, he has impressive speed and can exploit the seams. His catch radius is outstanding and can go up and win on contested catches. His physicality allows him to run over tacklers. He stays square on blocks. Does a good job getting to second level blocking targets. Hits his aiming point and can stay attached with good footwork and positioning. Has been effective in pass blocking opportunities. Doesn't appear to have the top end speed for the NFL but he can still stretch defenses and knows how to get open. Hands and pad level need to be cleaned up on inline run blocking as he has trouble sustaining blocks. Needs more movement at the point of attack. He needs to upgrade blocking against defensive ends. The needle appears to be pointing up, and with his size and speed he could be a viable addition as a second or third tight end.
