Three-year starter. Spent three seasons at Purdue prior to transferring to Oklahoma in 2024. Played in just five games in that initial year with the Sooners due to a soft tissue injury and concussion suffered separately. Came back for a full season last fall and was used in more of an outside alignment, further proving he can be an inside-out threat. While the lack of size can tend to put a cap on his effectiveness in specific scenarios, he is a smart and tough player with a reliable skill set to work the short to intermediate portions of the route tree effectively. He is a nice option to have on the depth chart, but his path to a long-term career is likely coming from the slot, where his movement traits and yard-after-catch potential can be used most effectively. Explosive stop and go quickness. Can stop himself vertically on a dime and snap back to the quarterback. Excels at finding vacant windows against zone coverage. Tracks the ball away from his frame well and has a pair of quick, accurate hands. Stronger with the ball than his size suggests. Can bounce off tackle attempts and keep the feet active. Strong through the lower half. Does not finish his routes. Will stray from his line and needs to be more detail-oriented. Pad level can get inconsistent. Rarely used as a deep target and did not accrue a lot of explosives. Return experience is small and durability concerns are valid.
