Four year starter. Initially went to Kansas from 2020 to 2023 starting twelve games in 2023 before transferring to Texas A&M where he started 26 games in his final two seasons. Last fall was named team captain. A strong, thick player with massive size, height and length. A dominant run-blocker, he combines nastiness with a good football IQ. Has shown the ability to play left guard, right guard and right tackle over his career. Moves defensive lineman backwards with his well-timed violent punch. A large bodied mauler who plays with an edge. Runs very well on short power pulls. Has shown marked improvement on his pass blocking. Slides his feet well to counters and inside moves. His length helps him stay attached mirroring defenders' moves. Sometimes gets too high and gives up his body's edge because of his aggressiveness. Needs to keep his balance on short yardage/goal line runs. Needs to work on solidifying his aiming point, as he sometimes over reaches. Tends to be a lunger. Has some balance issues, needs to widen out his base. Has had a plethora of penalties, an area which needs to be cleaned up. Appears to tire later in games, may need some additional conditioning work. That being said, he has shown a strong work ethic. As he develops as a pro, he may be able to swing into the tackle position. While originally coming out in 2025, the extra season gave him more seasoning against SEC competition. Has solid developmental upside.
