Two year starter. Cleveland has a well proportioned thick frame with average length. Played nose tackle aligning primarily in a 0, 1 and 2i. Strong at the point he shows strong quick hands on initial charge to neutralize interior blockers. Can stun and shed along with being reliable to anchor against single blocks and double teams. Will occasionally split a double team disrupting the blocking scheme. Shows ability to escape a block using a club to an arm over. Plays with very good contact balance and consistently clogs running lanes. If the play is to his side he can make a tackle coming off a block. As a pass rusher shows some bull rush into a move but little else. Lacks the foot quickness to attack and get around the shoulder of a blocker to get up the field. Lack of a consistent get off at the snap hinders his overall play. He's too easily reached versus zone blocking schemes and can get washed out of the play against combo blocks. Tends to get upright locating the ball and physical blockers can control and move him out. Lacks range to make plays beyond his gap, and tackle production has been limited. He eats up blocks and flashes hand usage, but overall he's been inconsistent. Seems to be just a step off making a play at times. There is some upside with his size and physicality and he could develop into a rotational player as a nose tackle.
