One year starter. Third-team All-SEC in 2025. Played only one year at tight end after playing linebacker for three years prior to that. Somewhat undersized for a tight end he makes up for it in toughness. An interesting conversion from linebacker to award winning tight end. Good explosion off the ball, and glides into top speed. Runs everything at break neck speed, doesn't leave anything in the tank. Relatively inexperienced as a route runner, which is purely a lack of experience. Shows pretty good consistency on following the ball into his hands. Plays the game like a seasoned pro. Comes in and out of his breaks with good speed. Shows good adjustments to errant throws. Quick off the ball, he will stick his nose in on blocks and keep his feet moving. Is a very undersized tight end. Very inexperienced in the skills it takes to run block and pass protect. May play some fullback with his up-tempo attitude and blocking toughness. Very green in overall pass receiving and route running skills. As an extra in multiple tight end sets he will have a shot at sticking. A premiere developmental player, will add good depth to special teams and get an opportunity to continue to develop his skills. His past will allow him to excel on special teams much easier than most. His hyper energy play made him a fan favorite in Norman.
