Alabama | Hometown: San Diego, CA | HT: 6006 | WT: 193 | 40 time: 4.41 | Hand: 0900 | Arm: 3118 | Wing: 7334

Two year starter. Was a part time player at Southern Cal in 2022-23 before transferring to Alabama in 2024. Was a full time starter in 2024 and a rotational player in 2025. He saw his playing time diminish mid-season after some less than ideal performances, but regained his role late season. He has excellent physical tools with a blend of height, strength and speed. Has played multiple coverage concepts as an outside zone defender including quarters, Cover 3 and hard corner Cover 2. Also used to play press and off man. Mostly reactive in press he has the speed to stay in phase deep and recover if separated. In off coverage he played with a big cushion and shows a traditional slow to fast pedal to maintain cushion. As cushion breaks he times his move into lateral run to smooth turn and run as receiver continues up field. Effective with zone and man turns. Solid hard corner technique getting hands on to re-route and work under intermediate routes. Sudden plant and drive on hitch and comeback routes. Gets his hands to the catch point and is adept at disrupting the catch. If separated in man has an incredible closing burst to get back in phase. Can cover a lot of ground reacting. Effective in the deep zones reacting to multiple route combinations, staying as deep as the deepest closing the void. Doesn't get beat deep. Willing in run support but occasional hesitation resulted in too many missed tackles. He barely has a plus wingspan and that can be a problem tackling. He's high cut and lateral agility suffers as a result. Prone to getting separated on inside cuts across the field. Footwork is inconsistent and extra steps cause trouble with double moves off the line and stem in press. Will fit best as a zone heavy corner.

2025 Stats: 39 T, 1.5 TFL, 1 PBU, 1 QBH. OSR:13/23. Draft projection: 5th/6th round
