Four-year starter. Spent four seasons at Liberty where he missed most of 2022 while recovering from a torn ACL. Spent 2024 at LSU and 2025 at Miami where he started for both programs but missed five games with multiple nagging injuries to his lower body. He is a sure-handed possession receiver who often lined up as the X. The lack of speed and burst limits the separation potential, but the strength in traffic and soft hands that coaches talked about as some of the best they had ever seen can somewhat make up for it. He is an older-than-normal prospect who had a long career with glimpses of impressive stretches and highlight-reel plays. Questions about his play speed and injury history without any special teams contributions are going to make it an uphill battle to be anything more than a backup. Strong, compact frame that can play through contact without being deterred. Aggressive pass-catching style and sure-hands give him the advantage in contested situations. Tracks the ball well, notably on quick intermediate throws. Varies his release off the line and can get open initially using different tactics. Lack of long build-up speed will make it tough for him to separate vertically. Tightness in his lower half along with lower-body injury history will make adjustment quickness difficult. Overall play speed may not be good enough.
