Two year starter. Second-team All-Big 10 in 2025 and Rose Bowl MVP. Played three years at Notre Dame before finishing his collegiate career as a National Champion. Started his last 26 games at center while starting at left guard in 2023. Prototypical build for today's centers, plays with an exceptionally wide base. His length is sup par, but he's the ultimate try hard guy who plays to the whistle. Appears to have a good football IQ as he's fundamentally sound within the scheme and doesn't make mistakes. Shows a quick front side step to get leverage on a defender. Gets on the hip of the defender when doubling or on down blocks. Has strong well-timed punch within the framework of the defender to secure the point. Shows good angles to the second level. Seems to enjoy the combat of the inside game and battles with tenacious second effort. Hustles downfield with the play beyond him always looking for work. Has made some old school downfield blocks. Effective punch and recoil in pass protection resetting and keeping balance. Gets his hips down to leverage and anchor. He is stiff legged with limited flexibility and has a hard time recovering when beaten. Tends to overextend and lean forward at times. Can get lost climbing to the second level. Lacks some side to side recovery quickness. Has some difficulty blocking in space and overall mobility is limited. His play was on an upward arc at Indiana and his career success is aided by his incredible work ethic. His versatility will be a plus and he can add depth to an interior line. Could go higher than expected based on intangibles.
