Defeats climbing linemen with tough engagements and decent twitch to evade. Will sprint through gaps to show up on the other side. Impressive speed towards the perimeter to maintain leverage all the way to the sideline. Great zone coverage skills; recognizes and escorts receivers entering his zone, and passes them off while picking up new threats. Anticipates throws, triggers rapidly, and swipes through hands to force breakups. Athleticism to carry running back downfield in man coverage. Turns his head around to find passes downfield, and times up punches to force incompletions. More than just an ordinary blitzing linebacker; collected a whopping 10 sacks in 2025. Can work around tackles on the edge, and blitz through gaps on the interior. Squeezes tight on loops with sufficient bend to pressure the quarterback. Battles with a high motor and doesn't give up on plays. Needs to stay square and shuffle rather than open up as running backs cut off his butt. Gets shoved around in the trenches and lacks the anchor to hold his own. Despite his consistent fight, he still gets turned out of his gap. Difficulty squeezing through blocks. Misses an alarming number of tackles with inconsistent form and fringe strength.
