Illinois | Hometown: Oakland, CA | HT: 6043 | WT: 322 | 40 time: 5.16 | Hand: 1018 | Arm: 3414 | Wing: 8214
Four year starter with two at New Mexico. All-Big 10 in 2025. Started his career with a season at Contra Costa College and then transferred to New Mexico in 2022 and Illinois in 2024. In total, started his last 49 games. Has surprising arm length and strong hands. Made an impression at the Senior Bowl and the Combine. An obvious deeply seasoned left tackle who has displayed durability. Shows excellent power on his initial strike. Good reach and strong hands are an advantage. Experienced in reading the defenses, stunts and twists. Aggressive finisher playing to the whistle. Keeps hands in a good position in front of his body. Recognizes defensive stunts and tricks. Appears to be able to bump down to guard. Will sink his butt down and drive the defender out. Has excellent hand and foot coordination in pass protection. Has a nice punch with his hands and keeps his feet moving. Recovers well and has the athleticism to react to quick counter moves. Needs to bring his feet with him when run blocking, tends to lean and loses his balance. Needs to clean up his footwork. He gives up his numbers. Leads with his upper body too often. Lazy hands get them swatted on pass rush moves. Speed rushers get to his edge. Has shown solid pass blocking skills and zone blocking acumen to become a steady swing man at the next level. Lacks some functional length. Has room to improve. With his physicality should have an opportunity to play at the next level in multiple positions.
