Missouri | Hometown: St. Louis, MO | HT: 5102 | WT: 179 | 40 time: 4.49 | Hand: 0912 | Arm: 3000 | Wing: 7318
Four-year starter. Played at a different program all four seasons, starting off at Jackson State in 2022. Was a two-time leading receiver at two different programs (Mississippi State and Missouri). The undersized but shifty and explosive receiver spent nearly his entire career in the slot while adding contributions as a returner. He is a menace with the ball in his hands as he consistently made defenders miss and picked up extra yards after the catch. Because he can be used as a receiver but also as a versatile gadget playmaker, he enters the league with multiple usage options. Immediate separation comes easy. Easy acceleration and runs routes with varying tempos to set up defensive backs. Smooth transitions without loss of speed when he breaks his route. Keeps the cleats in the ground when he gets his hands on the ball, maximizing his immediate movement post-catch. Body control shows up as he adjusts to the pass away from his frame. Plays aware and instinctive when feeling out where defenders are. Contact balance and toughness are key traits to his arsenal. Small frame make the margin for error very low for ball placement. Lacks strength at the catch point. Had a lot of production stem from screens and short dump offs. Was rarely used as a downfield target.
