Two year starter. Played his final two seasons at Alabama, after having played at Cal Poly (2021-2022) and at Washington (2023). Has 54 games of collegiate experience. A former walk-on who earned his stripes. Good overall size at his current weight. Lacks ideal length for an attached NFL tight end. Appears more comfortable as a move guy H back. A solid blocker who loves to mix it up. Doesn't shy away from contact when motioning behind the line of scrimmage. Effective as a lead blocker locating his target and exploding into contact. He could project to take fullback reps at the next level. Quick off the ball lined up on the line and squares up blocks. Normally runs his feet on contact and is reliable to seal the edge. Gets to second level blocks in a hurry with a good aiming point and is tenacious to stay on blocks. Runs crisp routes and is a dependable intermediate and short area receiver. Has a feel for finding holes in zone coverage. Adept at running the Y delay to an open spot. Shows soft hands and accelerates up the field after the catch.
