Three year starter with one at New Mexico State. Transferred to Arizona State in 2024. Second team All-Big 12 in 2025. Sculpted build with solid height, length, and functional strength. Has a high football IQ and has been an on and off the field leader. Has a wide base and plays at a low pad level. Shows a non-stop motor to go with short space agility. Has played inside, overhang, and on the edge. Excellent key diagnose he's patient with initial read and shows precise inside gap fits with a quick downhill trigger. Plays from alley to alley scraping off tackle to meet ball carriers on the line. Good flexibility to take on blocks with knee and ankle bend using quick strong hands to keep blockers off his chest. Can be violent, stunning and separating from blocks on the move. Uses an old school inside forearm meeting pullers on the edge. Stands his ground against climbing blockers and rarely gives them a clean shot. Normally takes good angles chasing outside runs. Has been productive blitzing inside gaps making plays in the backfield. Launches into tackles with wrap and powerful drive. Quick getting into a zone drop he settles and looks for work with his head on a swivel. Can match backs on flat routes but may lack the long speed to stay with a wheel route up the field. In coverage he makes more tackles than plays on the ball. Will stutter step at times in his drop, getting out of position and late reacting. Misses a tackle in space at times and has overrun some tackles. His ability to play the run makes him at least a solid run down prospect. In the right scheme he could be more. Should contribute on special teams.
