Three year starter. First-team All-Big 12 in 2025. Transferred to Houston in 2025, preceded by three seasons at Ball State. Has had a very productive career with more than 230 receptions and 24 touchdowns. Physically a long tall target with above average length. He's able to outreach most of his opponents and win on contested catches. Has soft hands and is able to haul in the tough grabs. Has shown a knack for being a go-to third down target. Being a big target makes him easy for the quarterback to find. He's been an effective red zone target. Shows a good football IQ in his route adjustments. Can play in all the spots a tight end can now play - attached, in the slot, and as a move blocker. More of a position blocker he can block the edge and get out in space, but lacks the power needed to block a 6 technique consistently. Needs to develop the other half of being a tight end, the violent physical part of football. Needs to have more consistency in his route running. Needs to bulk up a bit, lower his pads and get his weight back to become a more seasoned blocker. Has a willingness, now just needs to be coached up. Not an explosive downfield receiver. A reliable option in the pass game, with good athleticism. Can see him as one of the guys in 13 personnel. Could be a nice situational option and backup tight end.
