Hyper athletic linebacker offering quickness and sudden change of direction skill. Quick read and react, he\'s reliable working downhill or laterally according to the blocking scheme and backfield action. Run fits are generally consistent to hit the right gap. Has a sudden punch to stun and slip blocks on the move. Can play off multiple climbing blockers working to the alley. He can redirect off a block using his quickness and agility to recover against misdirection and cutbacks. Excellent chase speed to get to perimeter runs. Has fundamental tackling skill and can be explosive launching into ball carriers with a closing burst. Has been used as a spy on mobile quarterbacks and his agility shows up making secure tackles against shifty ball carriers and quarterbacks in space. Effective on interior blitzes he times his blitz well and accelerates in the backfield. Cover skill is where he shines as he can match backs\' route breaks and take an inside receiver up the seam. Gets deep zone drops and has vision to balance multiple routes and is quick to break on the throw. Size limitations show up as if a climbing blocker gets a clean shot he can get washed out of the play. A physical interior blocker can engulf him on plays at his run fit.
