One year starter. Long lean frame with incredible arm length and wingspan. Has a frame to add bulk. Played 6 to a wide 9 along with some overhang. Quick at the snap he uses long arms to create separation and control blockers' initial charge on run blocks. Has agility to work inside off blocks to make plays inline. Huge tackle radius engulfs ball carriers a gap over each side. Wraps and drives through tackles. Can take on pullers, constricting running lanes and reacting to ball carriers bouncing outside. Above average lateral movement to chase outside. Quickness and length are his calling cards in the pass rush and he's relentless with effort to get to the quarterback. Long strides eat up ground rushing the passer. Length creates opportunities to get to the quarterback's throwing shoulder on the release. Shows quick initial in out moves to get tackles out of position giving him a path around the corner. Flashes a chop and rip along with an occasional spin move. He's effective dropping to the flat and easily flips his hips to find the throwing lane. Length is useful getting his hands up to potentially tip balls. Lacks upper body strength to consistently set the edge against powerful tackles. Relies too much on speed and lacks power for a bull rush and consistently effective technique. If stalled on initial move, lacks effective counter moves to escape. Bend is average around the corner and he can be ridden out by widening tackles. His quickness creates initial pressure but he lacks consistent finish. He doesn't get to the quarterback as often as his skill set dictates. Has upside but needs more upper body strength and to upgrade pass rush technique. Has some long term upside to develop.
