Two year starter. Second-team All-ACC in 2025. Undersized hybrid prospect with excellent athletic skill. Has top end agility, speed, and quickness for a linebacker. Has played all over the second level of the Pittsburgh defense including in the box, overhang, and box safety. Decisive read and react there's no hesitation once he sees it. In the box he shows speed to power coming down hill and plays with natural knee bend to work against bigger blockers. As an overhang and box safety he consistently slips blocks in on the move with quick hands to get extension and a dip and rip to escape. Can fit gaps and has been effective taking open windows to make plays in the backfield. Has been used to blitz off the edge or inside and shows an incredible burst chasing in the backfield. Has range to make plays sideline to sideline. In coverage he can cover backs man-to-man with speed and agility to mirror route breaks and stay in phase up the field. Solid underneath zone defender with a feel for the throwing lane while reading the delivery key. He passes off crossers well to balance multiple receivers and doesn't get caught in the no cover zone. Rarely misses tackles but lack of power causes him to wrap and drag, making him vulnerable to yards after contact. Smaller size makes it difficult to take on interior blockers square and climbing second level blockers can wash him out. His downhill quickness can work against him on cutbacks and misdirection. Will under run plays at times and miss in space. He has what NFL teams look for in a sub package player with versatility to be used in multiple roles. His athleticism will also play well on special teams.
