One year starter. Transfer from Texas A&M in 2024. Saw significant reps playing on the edge or inside at A&M before transferring. Was a rotational player in 2024 before becoming a full time starter in 2025. Well built frame with ideal length and a thick lower half. His athletic profile and size makes him a classic tweener between a 3 technique and the edge. He's shown versatility playing anywhere from a 2i out to a 7 alignment. He's powerful at the snap with the ability to hold the point inside using long arms to get separation on blocks. Aligned outside he can set edge with solid stack and shed ability. He can re-direct off blocks inside or outside showing above average agility to make plays along the line of scrimmage. Can come off a block and sift inside from the edge to make a play. Has been effective with a gap charge to use his quickness to beat a guard. He can be disruptive inline getting penetration inside. Flashes skill on end-tackle stunts from either spot. As a pass rusher he has an effective bull-rush to collapse the pocket with good bend on dip and rip moves. He's been effective inside with gap charges and powerful hand usage. He lacks ideal first step quickness as an edge pass rusher and at times gets upright trying to run a move. Lacks the speed to consistently turn the corner on the edge. His pad level and hand usage has been inconsistent and he will lose leverage at times playing the run. The question is where does he project as far as position in the NFL? A 3-4 team might like him as a 5 technique that can kick inside in the nickel package.
