Four-year starter. Began career at Wisconsin for three seasons before transferring to Connecticut in 2023. Bell has enough size and speed to line up outside (he did so for over 60% of his snaps) but his future would best reside in the slot. He is a short strider with the quickness and agility to create rapid separation and he can do a lot of damage with the ball in his hands. He plays fast, but not necessarily the kind of fast that translates to being a deep threat and there are ball tracking shortcomings. The fact he can line up in different spots, however, will only boost his value and even though there was not any return experience on special teams, his vision and toughness could fit well into that role while he is developed as a pass-game option. Sudden, urgent burst with excellent stop and go quickness as a route runner. Excels at quick hitters, as 59% of his catches the last two seasons came four or less yards downfield. Runs with different tempos and will properly put defensive backs where he wants to. Brave in traffic with big, strong hands. Has had a hard time with vertical separation. Late to locate the ball, needs to get his head around faster. Shows some rigid movement to his route running. Will take too long at times when avoiding press coverage.
