Four year starter with two at Florida International and one at Gardner-Webb. First-team All-AAC in 2025. Started his career at Gardner Webb in 2021, transferred to Florida International in 2023 and then to Memphis for the 2025 season. Imposing height and length to go with surprising knee and ankle flexion for a tall body. Played right tackle at Memphis and started eleven games before a season-ending injury. Flashes quick initial get off in the run game along with a well placed punch into a defender's numbers. Shows bend, sinking his hips and controlling blockers with long arms. Tenacious to stay on blocks keeping his feet moving to drive defenders off the line. He can be effective on reach and zone blocks with quick low get off and accuracy hitting landmarks. In pass protection his pass sets are generally quick with knee bend and proper depth. Shows solid punch and mirror in a short space and can anchor against powerful edge rushers. Plays with second effort and if beaten, works hard to recover and stay on the block. Can be mechanical in movements and quick defenders can beat him with gap moves or counters. Oversets at times and twitchy defenders can successfully work out to in moves. Range in pass protection is somewhat limited, but length minimizes the issue. As a run blocker his get off is inconsistent and he struggles to consistently get to second level blocks. Tends to lumber in space and overall agility is average. He has some athletic limitations but several redeeming qualities along with a consistent motor. With coaching to develop consistent technique, he has a chance to develop into a starting right tackle. Someone will love his physical traits and upside.
