Three year starter. A two-time All-Mountain West selection (2024 and 2025). Started 41 games over the three seasons. Obviously, a durable offensive lineman, Casey is capable of playing both tackle and guard at the next level. Participated in the Combine and proved to be a big athletic smooth-running athlete. Has good footwork which allows him to get solid movement at the line of scrimmage. Has a solid anchor and always has his feet moving. Works well in combo with the guard and seems to know when to climb. Consistent getting to the second level and is solid blocking in space. Always around the ball looking for work and trying to help spring the runner. A high energy guy who has good recovery when a play breaks down. Runs well which adds to his value in the screen game. Uses his strong hands as an asset in pass protection. It appears that he has excellent football intelligence, particularly when trying to decipher what the defense is throwing at him. Good punch and hand placement is evident. Shows moxie in moving his hands on the strike in pass protection. Struggles against speed rushers. Arm length is a liability against long edge rushers. Plays a bit too upright. Needs to be more patient in pass protection and let the game come to him. Has been getting work at right tackle. His foot speed and intelligence allow him to stay at left tackle spot. A student of the game could see him as a day two selection.
