2026 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about CADE KLUBNIK:

Clemson | Hometown: Austin, TX | HT: 6017 | WT: 207 | 40 time: 4.69 | Hand: 0938 | Arm: 3118 | Wing: 7600

Three-year starter. Klubnik's first start in 2022 was the ACC Championship where he won the game's MVP award. Fast forward to 2024 and he put together one of the best dual-threat seasons in program history, finishing with 43 total touchdowns. Has a slightly undersized frame but is sturdy in the pocket and is a big play threat with both arms and legs. Fast, twitchy feet that transfer well into his release. Capable of using athleticism to win both as a passer and runner. Has made several splash plays creating with his feet. Naturally throws with altering tempos to all levels of the defense. Blends touch and zip consistently. Excellent deep ball production that gives the receiver a chance to make a play on the ball. Suffered from several drops by Clemson receivers. Will get jumpy in the pocket when pressure bears down on him multiple times. Stares down the initial target too soon and gives the defense a head start. Erratic footwork at times creates accuracy shortcomings. Will float the ball at times rather than drive it. He struggled to find consistency in his final season, showing poor mechanics and decision making. With a slightly undersized frame and average arm-strength at best, he needs to be much more efficient in other areas to make up for shortcomings. There are glimpses of tape of the hard-nosed competitor rising to the occasion, but there is a lot to clean up before he can be counted on as a reliable backup, let alone starting-caliber player. That said there is upside to work with and he could find a home as a developmental backup with starter potential.

2025 Stats: 257/392, 2943 yds, 65.6%, 16 TD, 6 INT, 4 rushing TD, 139.0 QB rating. Draft projection: 4th/5th round
