Ourlads' Profile:
2026 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about JONAH COLEMAN:
Washington | Hometown: Stockton, CA | HT: 5081 | WT: 222 | 40 time: 4.55 | Hand: 0918 | Arm: 2938 | Wing: 7018
Three-year starter. Spent two seasons at Arizona and then transferred to Washington in 2024 to follow Head Coach Jedd Fisch and running backs coach Scottie Graham. Coleman is a large-bodied, bruising runner who is tough to get to the ground on initial contact. He is both powerful and subtly quick in small areas, making him a difficult target to square up. The no-nonsense runner will contribute as a receiver as well, providing multiple options for usage. Does not have top-caliber speed or looseness in his hips, but the refined footwork on such a stout, powerful frame can make him a tough ball carrier to get to the ground and he checks every box of situational-potential in a rotational role. Broad upper body with light, quick feet. Shows late movement in crowded spaces to break tackles and gain yards after contact. Will take what the defense gives and runs with a decisive mindset. Short yardage and pass-game contributions are where he can shine. Effective blocker who changes up his approach. Had just one career drop and two career fumbles over 630+ touches. Lacks creativity and loose hips in the open field. Stop-go change of direction ability is heavy. Does not reach space fast enough. Knee injury suffered in the second half of season cut down on production.
