One year starter. Transferred from Fresno State in 2025 after four seasons playing special teams with some rotational duty in the secondary. Has ideal height and length for an outside corner and showed he belonged in the SEC, playing against some of the nations' top receivers. He has fluid movement skills for a big corner and can be physical. Fundamentally sound in all areas, he's been proficient in multiple coverage and techniques. In press man he can play reactive or throw a stiff off-hand jam on outside releases. Does a good job maintaining leverage and can disrupt the release. He shows mirror ability throughout the route. In off coverage he shows a deliberate pedal changing pace with the speed of the release and vertical stem. Shows smooth man or zone turns as the cushion breaks. Very good timing on press and bail getting his back to the boundary. As a hard corner he's efficient at re-routing with positioning and can ride a receiver out of bounds on an outside release. Easily flips his hips to sink under intermediate routes. In deep zone coverage, plays as deep as the deepest and flashes ability to close voids in overlapping zones. Skilled at getting to the ball in the deep outside, attacking the catch point with timing to get his hands in the basket. Plays off blocks with leverage versus outside runs and screens. Has been effective turning plays back inside and making tackles on wide runs. Has some problems getting attracted to one receiver in a zone rather than balancing. Has been out of position on outside route combinations and unable to recover. He can get hung up at times in transition allowing too much separation or room on an underneath completion. Plant and drive can be segmented as there is some lower body stiffness. Has NFL potential.
