Miami | Hometown: Tullahoma, TN | HT: 6010 | WT: 214 | 40 time: 4.57 | Hand: 1058 | Arm: 3134 | Wing: 7678
Three-year starter. Transfer from Tennessee prior to the 2025 season, and previously Middle Tennessee State. Second-team All-ACC this past season. Big, well-built safety prospect. Versatile defender who played all over the place for Miami. Maneuvers the field with considerable athleticism, agility, and foot quickness. Sufficient range over the top and will be best utilized in two-high schemes when deep. Lets his eyes and instincts take him to the ball downfield. Takes pride jamming receivers and tight ends downfield to disrupt route timing. Athleticism to carry receivers downfield. Loose hips and a flexible lower half help him leverage and carry threats in his zone while keeping eyes on the quarterback. Quick to transition and trigger on passes once the ball leaves the quarterback's hand, and utilizes tracking and well-timed high points to create interceptions. Breaks up passes with well-timed punches and toughness at the catchpoint. Downhill thumper who excels at filling out running lanes in the box. Tough at the point-of-contact and unafraid of initiating contact. Sets a hard edge outside and forces everything back inside. Works through traffic well to finish plays. Formidable blitzer off the edge with bend and physicality on contact. Looks to rip or punch out the ball on tackling attempts and had success doing so. His aggressiveness can cause him to get out of advantageous positioning in zone trying to make a play. Unproven in man coverage and will need to develop there. Misses an alarming number of tackles both in space and in the box; dives far too often. Can overrun angles to the sideline.
2025 Stats: 76 T, 4 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 6 PBU, 2 FF, 5 INT (1 TD). Draft projection: 4th/5th round
