Three year starter. Started every game the last three seasons for the Wildcats, on his way to being named second-team All-Big 10 in 2025. A team captain with experience at both tackle positions. Good size and strength add to his ability to sink and anchor in against a strong rush. Shows good foot movement. Smooth, for a long man, with a strong anchor. Plays strong against power rushers. Shows good hand strength and punch. Uses his advantage of his height and reach to his advantage. Usually ends up with good body positioning. Does a good job of mirroring the rush end. An overall good student of the game, his smarts are a big plus at left tackle. Seems to be able to read the defender's pass rush move before it happens. Overall, he's put on quality strength and mass during his college years. Has quality footwork. Consistent tackle. For a big man, plays with a good pad level. Needs to work on his toolbox in his run blocking skills, needs to be able to bend at the knees. More flexibility will help his overall game. Needs to be more physical in pass sets. Needs to be more consistent every play. Needed development in run blocking will determine his value at the team level. Has to keep a wider base when run blocking. The blindside tackle with his skill set, will keep the quarterback upright, an obvious huge advantage. He shows no injury history. With his experience, a third or fourth round pick appears in his future.
