Four year starter. First-team All-Big 10 in 2025. Competed well at the Combine, running well and showing an ability to smoothly redirect. A very active physical player, he continues working up on the defender. Shows good explosiveness and lateral quickness from the line of scrimmage. Plays with a strong base. Light on his feet, this tackle grinds 'em up. His ability to engage with a great punch, moves the defensive lineman on double teams and linebackers at the second level. Flattens players at the second level. Level of play increases against better levels of competition. Shows a good kick slide. Set up in pass protection is patient. Runs his feet well and Velcro's linebackers. Understands the zone blocking game. Has a strong anchor with his quality knee-bend. Seals the edge and cutback lanes. Good wide base in pass protection. Shows good overall work ethic particularly with his weight room acumen. Pad level tends to be a bit too high. Shows a lack of ability to redirect when beaten. There are some questions on his reach. Needs to coordinate his punch timing. Has overly choppy steps, with little to no movement. Gets caught leaning forward occasionally. Had an excellent showing at the Senior Bowl. May not have the athleticism to be a next level tackle. Although he has arrived at this point as a tackle, he could be better suited for guard particularly with his nastiness for the inside battles. All of his physical traits point to him being a guard at the next level.
