2026 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ELI RARIDON:
Notre Dame | Hometown: Des Moines, IA | HT: 6057 | WT: 250 | 40 time: 4.62 | Hand: 1034 | Arm: 3300 | Wing: 7934
One year starter, started all 12 games as a senior and saw action in all 28 games his last two years. Raridon is a tall, strong player with size, length and huge hands. He possesses a rich wealth of athleticism for his size. Plays with grit and the physical edge needed to battle in the trenches or make tough catches. Can play in all the positions today's tight ends need to play. Has a wide catch radius and the ability to snag anything that comes his way. Consistently makes contested catches winning the 50/50 battles. Has the athleticism and speed to run routes up the seams and also wheel up the sideline. Breaks tackles and gets yards after contact. Adept at settling in the soft spots in zone coverage. As a blocker shows good hand placement and quickness. Gets to second level targets and locks on in space. Solid inline blocker using quick hands and long arms to control defenders. Sinks his hips on contact and can sustain blocks. Has trouble getting movement on bigger bodies when blocking inline. The addition of some bulk will help at the next level, it appears his body can handle it. Needs work on lateral quickness and the ability to change direction. Consistency in playing with a lower pad level will help his run blocking. Needs more experience but can see he's been well coached, and appears ready for the next challenge. Has had two ACL surgeries in the last three years. He is trying to build on Notre Dame's recent history of having seven tight ends drafted over the last nine years.
2025 Stats: 32-482, 15.1 ypr. OSR:6/19. VJ-36. Draft projection: 3rd/4th round
