Three-year starter. Tore his ACL in November which will add a few questions and limit his pre-draft process over the next few months. He is abnormally thick for the position, possessing a frame usually reserved for a running back. There is a rawness to his game despite being in school for four seasons. The unique tool set and flashes on tape from multiple angles are easy to get excited about, however. His size and speed are enticing enough to label him a very-high ceiling-type prospect, but there are valid concerns to his ball skills and movement traits especially when considering he may miss part of his rookie season as he recovers from knee surgery. Strong and dense frame against contact. Can carry defenders on his back after the catch and consistently fall forward. Can win with speed once he gets his momentum down the field. Has runaway ability despite the extra mass he carries. Can stop his momentum and come back to the ball via separation and a wide frame that is hard for defenders to get around. Can overpower press coverage and drive a cornerback back onto his heels to help separation. Frames the ball with his hands and avoids unnecessary body catches. Remains rigid as a route runner, as there was not a lot of variety in regard to what he ran. A lot of simple comeback routes where he came back to the ball. Was not used much as a downfield threat. Will slow down too much when tracking the ball and does not always maintain steady eyes with body control. Lacks shake and wiggle which limits his acceleration and route running on intermediate routes.
2025 Stats: 72-917, 12.7 ypr, 6 TD. Draft projection: 2nd/3rd round
