Three year starter. Third-team All-SEC in 2025. Has desired physical traits - ideal build, length and height for the position. Played the boundary corner in Georgia's secondary. Has played a variety of coverage including press man, off-man, quarters, Cover 3 and some hard corner concepts. In press coverage shows excellent footwork at the snap mirroring the release. Rarely gives up leverage, shows a physical off-hand jam on outside releases to disrupt and stay connected. Normally mirrors route breaks and accelerates to stay in phase. In off coverage he was effective with press and bail, but also used a shuffle pedal with a relatively tight cushion. Changes speeds well to stay connected in his pedal and is quick to turn and run to stay with a vertical release of the stem. Has enough speed to stay with deep go routes. In zone coverage gets his back to the boundary quickly off his pedal and has solid ability to see the receiver and delivery key. Normally quick on plant and drive with the ball in the air and has made some big hits attacking the catch point. He's sudden with no wasted movement breaking on comeback and hitch routes. Has been effective on corner blitzes making plays in the backfield. Solid gather, wrap and drive tackling skill with some big hits under his belt. At times doesn't wrap going for the big hit and misses the tackle or bounces off. Occasionally gives up leverage in press on a double move by opening up too early. Has some tunnel vision at times not closing on threats, attacking the deep outside from inside alignments. Has given up some deep completions by being a step behind on deep vertical routes. Deep speed is above average but not elite. Everette has NFL starter qualities but needs some refinement.
