Three year starter with two at Arizona before transferring to Washington in 2025. Tall and long with a slender build, he has the height to match and out-physical bigger receivers. Played multiple coverage with experience in press and off man along with quarters and Cover 3. Played both boundary and field corner on both sides. Had a tough year with injuries as he was limited to seven games. As a press man corner he is very disruptive with long arms, sticking receivers with two and off-hand jams on the release. Footwork is solid and he usually doesn't bite on the first move. Can match receivers up the field and stay in phase on vertical routes. In off coverage he shows a deliberate pedal maintaining positioning to break on short throws and flip to lateral and turn and run as receivers work upfield. Flashes a burst reacting to underneath throws and can be physical using his length to attack the catch point. Shows no fear matching big receivers and wins most 50/50 battles. Does a nice job seeing multiple threats and seeing the quarterback's intentions. Is quick to come out of his pedal to play the deepest route in his third or quarter. Aggressive in run support in spite of his slender build. Solid tackling skill but a powerful runner can get yardage after contact as there is some wrap and drag to his tackling. He's high cut so gathering is somewhat difficult. This also shows up changing direction, particularly reacting to dig and crossing routes in man coverage. He's too easily separated on patterns coming across the field. Recovery burst appears average. His height and length will be appealing and he projects as an outside zone corner.
