Three-year starter. All-ACC in 2025. Had a career plagued by injuries, but when he was on the field he produced at a high level from the slot and as a returner. The shifty and elusive athlete was a playmaker with the ball in his hands and created on his own via toughness and feel. He missed all but four games in 2023 because of a foot injury and three more games in 2025 with injuries to his hamstring and shoulder. Durability at his size considering the style he plays with underneath will be a valid concern, but he has flashed enough to be considered a real weapon with versatility. He adds value as a returner and screen-game weapon, but there are physical limitations to create doubt. Rapid footwork and fluid hips allow him to gain initial separation both with and without the ball. Sudden, sharp burst immediately post catch will put pressure on the defense initially. Hard to get to the ground. Fights hard and has late shake to slide off poor tackle attempts. Can run all the routes effectively. Vastly improved ball skills in 2025. Lack of size shows up on occasion. Does not have a lot of presence against bigger, more physical corners. Catch radius is small. Durability concerns are valid. Gets caught from behind and is missing the final gear that creates a lot of explosives. Will not pose as a consistent deep threat.
2025 Stats: 55-604, 11.0 ypr, 4 TD, 1 rushing TD. OSR:23/37. VJ-39.5. Draft projection: 4th/5th round
